Bläue / Blueness / Azzurro had its world premiere at the BFMAF 2017. It is an experimental video that reflects upon the synthesis of the image production processes. The film revisits sites that are related to the history of Prussian Blue - a blue dyestuff - in Seveso, Italy, and Basel, Switzerland.

Bläue / Blueness / Azzurro is also currently on display in Berlin as part of the Forum Expanded Exhibition, Berlinale until 26 February.

Hardeep Pandhal

2018 is proving to be a busy year for BFMAF 2017 Artist in Profile Hardeep Pandhal! He is currently featured in Songs for Sabotage, New Museum Triennial, New York. His exhibition Liar Hydrant opens at Cubitt in London this Friday (23 February 2018) and features moving image works alongside drawings and sculpture. Hardeep will also be participating in Glasgow International 2018 this April.

BFMAF 2017 featured Konfessions of a Klabautermann, a riotous new video commission and exhibition from Pandhal that made bold provocations about racial profiling, class, and means of political resistance.
